Web Onboarding
Onboard a LITHO Mainnet validator through validator.litho.ai.
Last reviewed: 2026-09-18
Document status: portal onboarding is not yet released. validator.litho.ai
must remain activation-disabled until it displays LITHO Mainnet, Cosmos chain
lithosphere_9005-1, EVM chain 9005, the complete MsgCreateValidator
message, and a successful transaction simulation. Use the
CLI onboarding path until the portal
passes a real-wallet canary.
Before you begin
- Run a synchronized LITHO Mainnet validator using the approved genesis and binary.
- Back up the consensus key and signing state securely. Never upload them.
- Have the operator wallet funded with the approved self-delegation plus fees.
- Record the node ID and consensus public key.
Activate
- Open
https://validator.litho.ai/and connect the operator wallet without entering or uploading a seed phrase. - Confirm the portal shows chain
lithosphere_9005-1/9005and the derivedlitho/lithovaloperaddresses. - Open Validators and choose Onboard validator.
- Enter the validator identity, consensus public key, node ID, approved stake, commission limits, and minimum self-delegation.
- Review the complete transaction and every field: fee, gas, chain ID, account number, sequence, and operator/consensus addresses.
- Simulate, then sign in the wallet. Never enter a seed phrase into the site.
- Broadcast and save the transaction hash.
- Wait for a successful on-chain result and confirm the validator begins signing blocks.
Stop and use the CLI onboarding
path if the portal shows Makalu, chain 700777, incomplete transaction
fields, an unexpected address, or an unsupported wallet.
Security rules
- Never share a mnemonic, private key,
priv_validator_key.json, signing state, or wallet export with the portal or anyone else. - The portal must never request, receive, log, or store a mnemonic or private key.
- Activate validators one at a time and observe each before continuing.
See Validators for requirements, staking rules, and canonical network values.
